Hey NFB, I'm Ben.

I'm a full-stack dev working in React, Node.js, and C#.

I'm also an artist. Before coding, I spent a lot of my time as an opera singer. I still perform and create regularly.

I'm passionate about telling stories, building imaginative worlds, and exploring new audiovisual experiences. Technology has been a powerful tool for furthering these passions and creating meaning in my projects.

One of my favourite films is Flamenco at 5:15 by the NFB. It continues to be an inspiration since a conductor first showed it to me in 2014; what the NFB does matters.

I seek out projects that make a difference and amplify the stories that need to be told. Continued learning, creativity, and open-mindedness are what I look for in a team dynamic.
